Summary

After growing up in Newport Beach, California, I went north to attend the University of Washington, where I studied Psychology and History. For two years I worked in Real Estate back home in California before moving back to Seattle for another four years, where I began my foray into management consulting in the tech sector. In the summer of 2018 I packed up my things and left on a 9 month sabbatical of sorts; traveling from Mexico City to Buenos Aires in a semi-organized route. During that trip, I decided and organized my next big life moment; moving to Spain to attend IE Business School for two master’s degrees (International Business Administration + Digital Business and Innovation),

Now that' I’ve got my general story arch out of the way…

I like to explore the world around me; trying new foods, experiencing new cultures, and pushing my comfort zone. You can catch me out and about on a trail or on the mountain or alternatively trying a new bar or cafe around town. Feel free to say hello!

An Incomplete List of Interests

Behavioral Economics

What is the most effective way of getting people to change their behavior? The most moral? What are different strategies for implementing change on a personal and governmental level that minimizes mental effort and produces the greatest results?

History

How has our society gotten to where it is today? Given our cultural backgrounds how can we explain our modern day interactions? What parts of human nature and behavior has remained despite technological and ideological changes?

Investing & Business Management

Why do great companies succeed? How does the public react to great ideas and execution?

I believe in investing in companies with strong and innovative leadership that puts long term goals ahead of meeting immediate stockholder demands.

Technology

The rapid pace of innovation is hard to keep up with but is incredibly exciting. New tech developments can bring immense improvements to the quality of life of those in both wealthy and developing counties and thus should be a key industry for decades to come. However, since this progress comes quicker than governmental regulations, the industry needs to be monitored and guided in the right direction to avoid serious dangers.
